Rangers have confirmed their second signing in 24 hours after completing a deal to bring Brighton defender Connor Goldson to Ibrox.
The Gers announced the deal on their official Twitter account – following hot on the heels of announcing Nikola Katic’s signing.

The defender has signed a four-year deal with the Light Blues as Steven Gerrard continues to revamp his squad ahead of the new campaign.
The fee for Goldson is reported by the Daily Record to be around £3million.
Football Insider verdict:
Goldson is a fantastic signing by the Gers and is a statement of intent by Gerrard as the Light Blues look to win the title back from bitter rivals Celtic. The 25-year-old should make a formidable partnership with Nikola Katic in central defence for the Gers and tighten up a defence that leaked far too many goals last season. With a reported fee of £3million it’s a good bit of business by the Gers in getting a Premier League defender for a good price. Getting Goldson in before the Gers head to Spain on Sunday for a 10-day training camp is wise and will give Gerrard as much time as possible to get his new-look defence prepared ahead of their first competitive game. With a month until the Gers’ first European qualifier, Gerrard will be hoping his new defenders can hit it off quickly and form a good understanding. Both signings also represent a noticeable step towards building a much more physical side than the Gers have had in recent seasons.
