Fabio Cardoso sends Twitter message to Rangers fans after fixture announcement
Rangers defender Fabio Cardoso has sent a message to fans on Twitter after the SPFL confirmed the final five rounds of fixtures in the Scottish Premiership – and challenged the Light Blues to finish the season with seven wins from their upcoming games.
The Light Blues currently only have six games left in the campaign but could add a seventh if they can get past Old Firm rivals Celtic in Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final.
The former Vitoria Setubal star has struggled for game-time under manager Graeme Murty after being a regular in the starting XI under his predecessor Pedro Caixinha.
Cardoso took to Twitter to send the message to fans just after the fixtures for the final five rounds of the Scottish Premiership were announced.
“Let’s finish the season with seven wins, starting this Sunday,” Cardoso said on his personal Twitter account.

The Gers currently trail leaders Celtic by 13 points while are only ahead of Derek McInnes’ Aberdeen on goal difference.
Football Insider verdict:
Seven wins would be fantastic for the Gers and woud leave the Light Blues’ support delighted to see their heroes lift their first major trophy in seven years. The Gers do face some difficult fixtures over the coming weeks though and will need to be at their very best if they are to end the season on a run of wins. The race for second in the table will also come to a conclusion over the next month but the Light Blues will need to get their act together if they are to remain ahead of the Dons at the end of the campaign.
