Rangers: Djeidi Gassama must prove his worth vs Falkirk as Mikey Moore injury ‘question mark’ raised
Rangers are in desperate need of a performance from Djeidi Gassama against Falkirk on Sunday, with Mikey Moore potentially set to miss the game.
Danny Rohl is having to contend with a growing number of injury concerns ahead of the crucial league split, which is set to decide the fate of the Scottish Premiership title race.
Tuur Rommens and Ryan Naderi are both out for the trip to the Falkirk Stadium this weekend, and they could be joined by Moore, who appears to be facing a race against time to get himself fit for the game.
Rohl confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Friday that there are “question marks” surrounding the fitness of both Moore and Andreas Skov Olsen ahead of their upcoming assignment.
Rangers’ injury woes have come at a crucial time of the campaign, and they now find themselves in a position where they are relying on some of their squad players to step up to the plate.

Gassama has seen his consistency questioned on several occasions since his move to Ibrox last summer, after he initially began the campaign in fine form.
The former Sheffield Wednesday man made himself a hero in European action during Russell Martin’s brief tenure, but he hasn’t kicked on the way that many people expected since he was reunited with Rohl.
| Gassama | Stats | Moore |
| 32 (23) | Apps (Starts) | 27 (20 |
| 6 | G/A | 8 |

The Mauritania international has largely found himself playing second fiddle to the duo of Moore and Skov Olsen in recent weeks, but it is now time for him to step out of their shadow and prove his value to the project at Ibrox.
Gassama is almost certain to start in the trip to Falkirk if that duo are not deemed fit enough to make the starting XI, and Rohl will be desperately hoping that he can produce when it matters.
Every single point is crucial in the context of the title race at the moment, and the Gers undoubtedly need Gassama to be at his creative best if they are to secure victory.
Rangers dealt major blow over Ryan Naderi
Naderi has had a big impact at Rangers since he joined from Hansa Rostock during the January window, but they are now highly likely to be forced to fend without him for the remainder of the season.
Rohl revealed in his press conference that the chances of seeing the German again before the end of the campaign are slim, while adding that the striker is still two weeks away from his scan of the issue.
The boss noted that Naderi’s injury is “serious,” after he was previously subsituted at half-time during last weekend’s victory over Dundee United at Ibrox.
Rangers are seeing their squad tested to its very limits at the moment as they try and pursue their first title since 2020-21, and it is clear that now is the time for those on the fringes to step up.
