Manager Pedro Caixinha is expected to make three changes to his team which faces Partick Thistle at Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon.

The Glasgow giants’ last match saw them earn a vital 3-0 win over Aberdeen at the Pittodrie Stadium on Sunday with a late double from Kenny Miller alongside a solo Joe Dodoo strike.

Now, the match was not without some poor performances from select individuals despite the scoreline and one of the most criticised was forward Martyn Waghorn.

The 27-year-old was completely lacklustre before being hauled off on the 80th minute and it is now expected that he will be axed for the weekend clash with Miller taking up the lone striker role.

Meanwhile, fellow attackers Emerson Hyndman and Joe Garner are also likely to drop out of the starting line-up with attacking trio Dodoo, Barrie McKayand Josh Windass to come into the side in three changes.

Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is expected to keep his place between the sticks as the club’s number one and he will likely be protected by an unchanged back four.

Centre-back duo Clint Hill and Rob Kiernan have been ruled out of the clash through injury, while Lee Wallace is also expected to miss out.

This will then likely see youngsters David Bates and Myles Beerman keep their places in the back four with Danny Wilson and James Tavernier alongside them.

Meanwhile, the central midfielders are expected to remain unchanged too with Jason Holt and Jon Toral helping their side keep an all important clean sheet against Aberdeen.

As well as their defensive duties they will also be looking to feed a front trio of Windass, McKay and Dodoo, who can all prove devastating on their day and they will be keen to feed veteran Miller, who has eight league goals this season.
