Rangers expert in ‘no doubt’ about Morelos’ future after source’s private reveal

Alan Hutton is in no doubt that Michael Beale will want both Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent to sign new Rangers deals.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender said the pair are “flourishing” under Michael Beale.

On Tuesday (7 February), Football Insider revealed that Morelos, 26, has knocked back interest from clubs in Turkey, who were keen on signing the forward before their transfer window closes today.

The Colombian has privately not ruled out the possibility of signing what would be a surprise new deal with the club.

As quoted by the Daily Express (5 February), Connor Goldson said that although he would love the pair to stay, the club need to have potential replacements lined up.

When asked if fellow players could convince the pair to sign new deals, Hutton told Football Insider:It can be a difficult one.

When you look at Connor Goldson signing his contract that was good for himself and the club but it is normally just down to your personal preference.

They will listen to others and you want them to do well and sign new deals. But if they see their future away from the club then it might not affect their decision.

When you look at Alfredo and Ryan Kent, they have really hit form. They seem to really flourish under Beale and he will want them to stay there is no doubt about that.

They won’t want to lose them now that is for sure. So if they can tie them down those two players definitely make the team stronger.

In other news, according to sources, Rangers starlet Robbie Ure wants to quit after being offered new deal on less money.
