Rangers fans explode after what Youssef Chermiti did vs Celtic – ‘absolute dross’
Rangers supporters were in disbelief at what Youssef Chermiti did during their Scottish Cup semi-final clash against Celtic.
Chermiti was signed for £10million from Everton during the summer transfer window, becoming one of Russell Martin’s marquee signings.
Sadly, the Portugal under-21 international has struggled to live up to expectations, coming into Rangers clash against Celtic with just one goal in 10 appearances across all competitions.
Danny Rohl did praise Chermiti for showing an improvement during their 1-0 win over Hibernian, but it appears supporters aren’t sold on the striker’s qualities.

Rangers fans slam Youssef Chermiti for miss against Celtic
Chris Sutton forecasted a goalless draw for Celtic vs Rangers, though his prediction went out of the window when Johnny Kenny fired the hosts in front.
Kenny’s strike came after Chermiti missed a gilt-edged chance, somehow firing wide from inside the box unmarked.
Rangers fans were in disbelief that the 21-year-old fired wide, with one supporter writing on X: “Couldn’t hit the broadside of a battleship if he was duct taped too it.”
“That’s being very generous. “Missed the target from 6 yards out” would be more appropriate,” someone else commented, while a third said: “For £10 million he should be finishing that.”

“That’s a miss that warrants an instant sub. Get Souttar up front over that useless waste of space,” another stated.
“He has to score that, we won’t get a better chance this game,” a sixth wrote, and a seventh replied: “Absolutely honking.”

Bojan Miovski unfortunate not to start vs Celtic
Rangers captured Bojan Miovski from Aberdeen in the summer. The 26-year-old was seen as a shrewd piece of business, having 44 goals in 98 appearances at Pittodrie.
Unfortunately, he’s failed to translate that form across to Ibrox, only finding the net twice in 11 matches in all competitions.
However, Miovski can feel hard done by that he started on the bench at Celtic, especially considering his record.
The North Macedonian has three goals in eight appearances against the Hoops, and considering his compatriot isn’t tearing up any trees, perhaps he would have buried the chance Chermiti missed.
