Rangers fans ‘gutted’ as new Emmanuel Fernandez transfer development emerges
Rangers fans have urged their club not to sell Emmanuel Fernandez at any cost this month amid new reports of interest from two top European clubs in his services.
Rangers have been transformed into a top team under Danny Rohl, with eight wins in a row to move into second place in the Scottish Premiership as it stands.
Their fine form has seen numerous players impress over the last few months, with Fernandez being one of their top performers following a summer move from Peterborough United.
Gers fans slammed Fernandez for his early-season showings, but he has shone in recent weeks, with stellar showings and key goals against Hibernian, St. Mirren and Aberdeen.
His strong performances have seen Rangers fans change their mind about Fernandez, but they could now lose his services just a few months on from his arrival.

Rangers have already let various first-team players leave this month, with Kieran Dowell, Lyall Cameron and Oscar Cortes each moving on to pastures new.
Their strong form has seen numerous top players tracked by other clubs, with the Scottish Sun reporting that centre-back Fernandez has been attracting major attention from clubs in England and throughout Europe.
The 24-year-old has been scouted by German giants Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund this season, and either could move to sign him in the next week.
He has scored five goals in 18 appearances across all competitions for the Gers this season, and is among the top centre-backs in the Premiership for ground and aerial duels won, interceptions, recoveries and successful dribbles per 90 minutes.

Fellow Rangers stars Djeidi Gassama and Youssef Chermiti have each been linked away from the club in recent days, with Monaco having a £10million bid for the former rejected and Fenerbahce seeing a £13m approach for the latter rebuffed.
They are each important to Rohl‘s side, but many Rangers fans see Fernandez as the most important player to any chance they have of success this season.
Taking to X, one fan replied to rumours of his exit to say: “Of all players right now being linked with moves, Manny Fernandez is the biggest absolute no of the lot. Although he will probably bring us the most money, or he should anyway.“
Another said: “Manny Fernandez is the one player (can’t believe I’m saying this after his start here) we can not lose right now. He’s the first name on the teamsheet for me. Will make us silly money at the right time. That’s not now.”
While one supporter posted: “Only just got the leaky defence sorted because of the big man. Should not be selling him anytime soon.“
