Rangers fans may never see versatile flyer again after deal is terminated early
COMMENT
Rangers wide-man Myles Beerman is out of contract in the coming weeks and there’s a massive chance that he will not earn a new deal after his loan deal at Queen of the South was terminated early.
The 19-year-old returned to Ibrox earlier this week after barely making an impact at the Palmerston club – and that will surely have a major impact on whether the Gers chiefs will decide to hand him an extension.
Beerman moved to Queen of the South in the January transfer window but made just four appearances in all competitions before manager Gary Naysmith confirmed that his loan deal was cut short, denying him of the chance to play in the season finale against Brechin this weekend.
The Malta international was thrown into the Rangers first team towards the end of last season by Pedro Caixinha in the wake of a defensive injury crisis, however his only contribution to the senior squad this term was a spot on the bench against Proges Niederkorn last July.
Graeme Murty shipped him out on loan to Queen of the South and that should really have been the youngster’s chance to prove that he deserved a new deal.

However after barely playing and not even earning the privilege to play out the entirety of his loan, the versatile flyer – who has played on both the left and right wings for Queen of the South – looks like his days at Ibrox and fans may never see him again.
