Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter to Andy Halliday’s performance in the 1-0 Florida Cup victory over Atletico Minerio.
Halliday was making his long-awaited return to the Light Blues side after spending the first-half of the season on-loan at Azerbaijan side Gabala after falling out of favour with Pedro Caixinha.
With Graeme Murty now in charge at Ibrox, Halliday has been given a second chance at the club and supporters were impressed with the performance of the player who was named captain for the match
One fan went as far as to call Halliday’s performance in the win as being “brilliant”.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Halliday’s performance:

A much-changed Gers side including new signings Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy and the returning Michael O’Halloran won the match 1-0 thanks to a Josh Windass goal, and the Gers complete their winter break schedule with a game against Corinthians on Saturday when Halliday may well see more game time.
The Light Blues then make their return to Scotland, when they take on non-league Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup before meeting Aberdeen at Ibrox in what looks to be a huge match in the battle for second place in the Scottish Premiership table.
