Rangers fans react to Hodson display against Dundee
By Alex Stevens
Lee Hodson played the full 90 minutes of Rangers’ 2-1 Scottish Premiership defeat to Dundee on Sunday – and fans took to Twitter to criticise the defender.
Full-back Hodson slotted in to the team selected by caretaker manager Graeme Murty due to the unavailability through injury of skipper Lee Wallace.
But he was part of collectively wretched display that further underlined how far Rangers have fallen behind runaway leaders and bitter rivals Celtic.
Rangers took the lead through Joe Garner, who scored his first goal since October, but suffered their first league defeat at Dens Park since 1992 following goals from Mark O’Hara and Kevin Holt.
Ibrox supporters were highly critical of the display of Hodson, who played at left-back and was making his 14th appearance of the season.

@54Beats44 Our worst defender today was Lee Hodson, if he passed the ball to a Rangers player twice, that was a lot, then near got Kenny done

The result sends Dundee into the top six and leaves Rangers six points adrift of second-place Aberdeen, who came from behind to beat Kilmarnock 2-1 at Rugby Park earlier on Sunday.
Celtic maintained their stranglehold on the league summit with a win on Saturday that takes their points haul after 25 league matches to a remarkable 73.
