'Real deal', 'Star in the making' - Rangers fans blown away by one player
By Harry Sykes
Alfredo Morelos lifted his goal tally to three in two games with the opener in Rangers’ 3-2 defeat to Hibernian on Saturday – and fans took to Twitter to hail the striker.
Morelos, 21, followed up his midweek League Cup double against Dunfermline by opening the scoring in the Glasgow giants’ clash against Hibs at Ibrox.
But Rangers slumped to defeat after the tide of the match was turned following the 36th minute sending-off of Ryan Jack.
Nevertheless, the Rangers faithful are getting excited about the calibre of their Colombia Under-20 international, who now has three goals in 162 minutes of domestic football for the club.

You mean Morelos + Herrera Kenny, they should be the longterm partnership.

Morelos will get goals. No doubt. But a 21 year old boy just arrived shouldn’t be expected to carry full burden himself.

Cardoso struggled. And Hibs may well have continued to grow from 1-1 but Rangers were causing problems wide and through Morelos.

Morelos was signed from Finnish outfit HFK Helsinki in the summer as one of nine new arrivals sanctioned as part of a mass overhaul under Pedro Caixinha.
The south American looks one of the best of the new signings as he looks to live up to his reputation established at HFK, where his 62 appearances yielded an impressive 46 goals.
The youngster is one of nine players to join Pedro Caixinha’s project at Rangers this summer and, at the moment, he looks among the best, along with Graham Dorrans.
In other Rangers news, fans have destroyed a summer signing on Twitter for his display against Hibernian.
