'Lazy', 'Total passenger' - Rangers fans destroy senior player after win against Ross County
By Harry Sykes
Niko Kranjcar was handed his first league start of the season in Rangers’ 3-1 win against Ross County on Sunday – and fans took to Twitter to pan his display.
Kranjcar, 33, was named in the starting XI after getting the nod to replace the injured Josh Windass on the left wing.
Two first-half goals from Alfredo Morelos and a late strike from substitute Eduardo Herrera secured a notable away win for the Scottish giants.
But supporters were unimpressed by the contribution of former Tottenham and Portsmouth player Kranjcar, who played the first 64 minutes before making way for summer signing Carlos Pena.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

I want Kranjcar to succeed but majority of his Rangers career thus far has been shouting angrily at an invisible man in the sky

Unpopular as it may be, but we are better without Kranjcar.

Something seriously wrong if Kranjcar is fitter than Pena. We’d be as well taking him off and playing with 10 men.

Kranjcar is not a winger. He’s worse than a man short out there.

Kranjcar is a total passenger ????????♂️

Kranjcar is very slow or lazy, no sure which one yet

You can take Kranjčar off right now, not at the races today so far. He’s not suited to that winger/left midfield role imo.

Kranjcar is rebuilding his fitness after a serious knee injury wrecked his debut Ibrox campaign following his arrival on a two-year contract last summer
Meanwhile, Rangers have got back to winning ways after successive home league fixtures had yielded a tempestuous 3-2 defeat to Hibernian and a goalless draw against Hearts.
Rangers nudge up to fifth place in the Scottish Premiership, joining Hamilton and Hibs on seven points from four games.
In other Rangers news, Caixinha has destroyed a 26-year-old player on the Ibrox books.
