Rangers fans react on Twitter to Sky journalist update about Joey Barton

Rangers and Joey Barton have mutually agreed to terminate his contract – and fans on Twitter are glad to see the back of him.
Sky Sports presenter Jim White has claimed on his personal Twitter account that Barton will leave the Ibrox club by Wednesday.
According to sources, mutual contract termination agreed between Joey Barton and @RangersFC – should be finalised Wednesday

It means his career with the Glasgow club is set to come to an abrupt end despite only joining the Gers in the summer.
Barton joined Mark Warburton’s side after leaving Burnley after he won promotion to the Premier League with Burnley.
But his career at Ibrox has been full of controversial moments and supporters are not unhappy to see the back of their summer signing.

The Gers fans jokingly stated that his career in Scotland worked out well as one person was eager to know what was said to Barton.
But surprisingly after the news broke about his contract termination, one supporter did state that he would like to see manager Warburton leave the club.

The 34-year-old made eight appearances for the Glasgow giants in his first spell in Scottish football.
If he leaves he will have to restart his career again, but he will only be able to play for another club in England or Scotland until the transfer window opens in January.
