Rangers striker Ryan Hardie has enjoyed a blistering start to his loan move with Livingston after scoring his fourth goal in as many games for the West Lothian side.
Hardie scored twice on Saturday to secure a 4-1 win for Livi over Scottish Championship leaders St. Mirren to keep David Hopkins’ side in the hunt for a playoff place.
The 20-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and will no doubt be hoping his displays at the Tony Macaroni Arena will help him win a new deal at Ibrox.
Gers fans were delighted to see the Scottish Under-21 international hit the net – with one Rangers fan saying he “cant be any worse” than Mexican striker Eduardo Herrera.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:
Ryan Hardie deserves a proper chance at us! Can’t be any worse than Herrera can he?

I've always said Ryan Hardie should be given a good chance at Rangers. He'll come good

2 goals for Ryan Hardie so far today… wonder if he’ll ever get a chance with us.

I said Ryan Hardie was probably done at Rangers unless he goes to Livi and singlehandedly drags them up from the Championship.
4 Games
4 GoalsAnd he's just put Livi 2-1 (both goals) up at home to league leaders St Mirren.
Certainly giving himself every shot to come back.— Foreign Rangers Fan (@KylEnsign) February 17, 2018
Hardie first made the breakthrough under Ally McCoist but has failed under successive managers to win a regular first-team place at Ibrox and had a number of stints away from Ibrox on loan.
Hardie and Gers team-mate Jordan Thompson are both on loan at the Tony Macaroni Arena until the end of the season as the Lions look to earn a playoff spot at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Gers since first breaking into the side in 2014.
