'Worries me', 'Won't be fobbed off' - Rangers fans react to reported update on manager hunt
Rangers are not looking to appoint Dutchman Frank de Boer as their next manager, according to an insider, and Gers fans are raging with the Ibrox board.
According to reliable insider Four Lads Had A Dream on Twitter, de Boer isn’t under consideration to take over from Graeme Murty in the summer as the club’s long-term manager.
Recent rumours of approach or contact with Frank de Boer have been confirmed as false.
Our understanding is there is no contact at this point and he is not on the boards immediate list for managers position

Gers fans had been hoping the former Ajax, Inter Milan and Crystal Palace boss would be next to lead the Ibrox giants but it seems they aren’t going to get their wish.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:
If it’s not to be FDB then it has to be someone of that hype/calibre. Someone to lift whole club, players and fans. Dare I say someone like Rodgers.
Club needs a freshness and a reset this summer.

If it's not FdB then it better be a manager of similar reputation and standing.
The board better get this through their skulls. The support won't be fobbed off with the likes of Graeme Murty, Alex Neil or god forbid, Derek McInnes https://t.co/lINKUsA3VM

If De Boer isn’t on the list, I want Marco Silva. We won’t get him, though. We’ll end up with Danny Lennon with Murty as his no.2.

And Frank De Boer a non starter? You’ll be telling me Puma are extending our kit deal next! ????????♂️

De Boer had a brief spell playing for the Light Blues towards the end of his legendary playing career before hanging his boots up and entering the coaching world.
The Dutchman won four titles in a row with Ajax but endured shambolic spells with both Inter and Crystal Palace and is currently without a club.

Despite his short stays in both his last two jobs, de Boer is a popular choice with Rangers fans and many would have loved to have seen the former Ajax and Barcelona star arrive at Ibrox in the summer.
Graeme Murty’s future is uncertain with the Gers boss only under contract until the end of the season.
In other Rangers news, Gers fans were blown away by this winger’s performance in the 4-0 win over Breidablik.
