Here are some of their comments on Twitter:
Always liked Arfield at Falkirk he came through their youth system so at least he knows Scottish football!

Scott Arfield is a very good signing for us plenty of top flight experience which will help the likes of McCrorie and Docherty. Hopefully the start of many that will come in and be a big improvement on what we already have at the club

The signing of Arfield should prove to be a good bit of business by the Gers as the former Burnley and Huddersfield star returns to Scottish football.
With Gerrard set to officially take the reins on June 1st, Arfield’s signing will be the start of a huge overhaul of the Gers squad this summer as a number of players leave.
Arfield has made 20 appearances this season, scoring twice, as Burnley have been the Premier League’s surprise package and finishing seventh and securing a place in next season’s Europa League.
The 29-year-old made a total of 193 appearances during his time at Turf Moor and has won 12 caps for the Canadian national team.
