Rangers fans react to reported gesture from Celtic skipper Scott Brown

Scott Brown’s testimonial was announced on Monday, with Celtic set to play the Republic of Ireland in a friendly on May 20.

The news was announced on the official Celtic Twitter page and was followed by a report that Brown would donate some of the gate receipts to Liam MIller’s family.

The former Celtic and Ireland midfielder died earlier this year after a battle with cancer.

The news of the testimonial was announced on the official Celtic Twitter page on Monday afternoon.

Following this, the report in the Daily Record announced that the monies would go to various charities, with one being Miller’s family.

Rangers fans took to Twitter and for once both sides of Glasgow were on the same page as the Gers supporters said it was a wonderful gesture.
