Rangers caretaker manager Jimmy Nicholl has made three changes to the side which faced Aberdeen in midweek with Jordan Rossiter, Sean Goss and Jason Cummings replacing Ross McCrorie, Graham Dorrans and Alfredo Morelos in the starting XI – and Gers fans are delighted to see Rossiter in the starting XI line-up for the first-time since August last year.

The Gers boss has had his hand forced with injuries and suspension ruling out McCrorie, Morelos, Dorrans, Ryan Jack, Lee Wallace, Kenny Miller, Declan John and Wes Foderingham.

The Ibrox giants confirmed the team on their official Twitter account ahead of the final day showdown with Neil Lennon’s side.

Gers fans are looking forward to seeing Rossiter in action for the first time in nine months after a long-term injury derailed his second consecutive season at Ibrox.

Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Rossiter joined the Gers from Liverpool in 2016 but has been limited to a handful of performances after two serious injuries.

The clash at Easter Road could see the the Light Blues secure a second-place finish in the league but the Gers need to better Aberdeen’s result against Celtic if they are to pip the Dons, who hold a one-point advantage over Rangers, to second.

In other Rangers news, the Gers are firmly in the running with Celtic to sign this £120,000-a-week Premier League player who wants to move on in the summer.
