Clint Hill does not feature in Rangers’ starting line-up against Aberdeen on Wednesday night and fans have taken to Twitter to rage.
The centre-back has become a favourite of the supporters in his first season at Ibrox but has recently revealed he will not be offered a new deal at the club.
Wednesday’s second-versus-third clash would have seen Hill bid farewell to Rangers’ stadium in what is their penultimate game of the season and final one at home.
The Light Blues announced the team teams on their official Twitter account ahead of kick off.

It is unclear as to why Pedro Caixinha has left Hill out of the squad, especially due to his brilliant performances throughout what has been a difficult season for the club.
The 38-year-old, who was picked up on a free transfer last summer following his release from QPR, has made 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals.
He was named man of the match for his resolute display in the 2-1 win over Hearts on Saturday and admitted that the Aberdeen clash will be his final goodbye to Ibrox.
Fans are gutted with the news and took to Twitter to react.

Unless Clint Hill is injured, he should have got his Ibrox farewell game though, not even named on the bench seems strange to me.
