Rangers fans on Twitter believe loanee Emerson Hyndman was their side’s only shining light in their 2-1 Scottish Premiership defeat to Dundee on Sunday.
On loan from Premier League outfit Bournemouth, USA international Emerson Hyndman started alongside Andy Halliday in the centre of the park against Paul Hartley’s side.
Hyndman, 20, saw plenty of the ball in the Gers midfield as he looked to provide his side’s creativity from deep and supply the likes of Martyn Waghorn, Joe Garner and Kenny Miller.
Despite proving to be one of the better performers in his side on Sunday afternoon, the Texas-born midfielder could not prevent the 54-time Scottish champions from losing their third league game out of the last five.
Rangers fans took to Twitter to voice their praise for Hyndman, with some suggesting that he would be one of the only players that is good enough to play for the Gers.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Hyndman looks like the only creative player ✔️

I'd go as far to say that Hyndman is the only player I think is good enough for our team. McKay possibly but far to inconsistent.

Since signing for the Gers, Hyndman has already had a hand in four goals for his side since moving to Glasgow during his nine appearances.
Scoring twice against Motherwell and Hearts, midfielder Hyndman has also provided two assists as he continues to impress while on loan from Bournemouth.
