Celtic fans react on Twitter to Kenny Miller performance for Rangers

By Will Butcher

Celtic fans humorously mocked Kenny Miller’s performance on Twitter after they believed he struggled to have an impact during Sunday’s Old Firm clash.

Miller, 37, started and finished the match as the Gers secured a 1-1 draw against Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops at Celtic Park, when Clint Hill scored late on to draw level following Stuart Armstrong’s equaliser.

The veteran was well marshalled by the Celtic midfield as he looked to orchestrate the Gers attacks, with Scott Brown impressing in the middle of the park.

Although showing in glimpses what he can do, the former Celtic striker was unable to get on the scoreline as Rodgers clinched an 18th straight win in all competitions.

Celtic fans took to Twitter to share their comments on Miller, who played for the Hoops during the 2006-07 season.

Some criticised his performance in a blue shirt, while others slammed his two-footed lunge on Stuart Armstrong in the first half.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

During the 2016-17 campaign, Miller has scored nine goals and provided another five assists during his 35 league and cup appearances.

However, his current deal is set to expire in just over two months and might not be a Rangers player much longer.
