Rangers fans react on Twitter to Miller performance against Celtic

By Amir Mir

Kenny Miller scored a goal as Rangers were beaten 2-1 by Celtic at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon – but fans on Twitter believe the striker had a good game.

The 37-year-old put the home side ahead when he slotted home at the back post, but his early opener was cancelled out by Moussa Dembele who thumped his shot from a corner before the break.

Mark Warburton’s side produced the better chances in the first half and as a result were the better team, but they away side responded in positive fashion after the interval.

The likes of Moussa Dembele were proving a threat before Scott Sinclair scored the winner 20 minutes from time to secure a 15th league win on the bounce for Brendan Rodgers side.

The result was a damaging defeat for the Gers, who are now 19 points behind their rivals in the table.

However, supporters did criticise the experienced campaigner for his miss in the second half which ended up hitting the post.

Overall, fans were pleased with Miller’s display and were hoping the rest of the team can take on board his fight and performance.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
