Rangers fans react on Twitter with worry to Hill and Kiernan starting v Inverness

By Harvey Byrne

Clint Hill and Rob Kiernan have been brought in to Rangers’ defence to face Inverness on Friday evening – and Gers fans took to Twitter to share their worries over the centre-back duo.

The pair are Mark Warburton’s only two changes to his side from the team which beat Partick Thistle in their last league fixture.

Defender’s Danny Wilson and Philippe Senderos have dropped out of the line-up with the former out of the squad and Senderos on the bench.

Rangers fans are not confident with Hill and Kiernan featuring in defence and fans took to social media to share their feelings.

Here are a selection of messages on Twitter:

Rangers currently sit in fifth place in their return to the Scottish Premiership, winning two of their last three matches in all competitions.

Warburton will be keen for his side to push on from their solid start as they still sit seven points behind fierce rivals Celtic.

The Gers last played in Inverness in April 2015, in which the Ibrox side ran out 1-0 victors through a Lewis MacLeod strike in the League Cup second round.

In other Rangers team news, their midfielder has delivered a verdict on Niko Kranjcar’s impact on the team.
