'Eighth wonder of the world' - Rangers fans in meltdown as club work on deal to sign kingpin

By Richard Parks
Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to sign Sean Goss on a permanent deal after his excellent display in the team’s 4-1 league win over St Johnstone on Tuesday night.
Goss has made an excellent impression since joining the Glasgow giants from English Championship side QPR last month on a loan that runs until the end of the season.
The central midfielder, 22, has made eight appearances in all competitions, including seven starts in the league and has been integral to Rangers fine sequence of results.
Goss played the full 90 minutes against St Johnstone and scored his first goal for Rangers with a 40th minute swept finish in what was a majestic display from the player.
Manager Graeme Murty has admitted that his club are working on converting Goss’ loan into a permanent transfer this summer.
“Sean Goss is one of a number of players we are looking to bring in on a permanent deal,” Murty said at his media conference on Monday, as quoted by the Scottish Sun. “Goss has made a really good start, and has shown he understands how we want to play and the demands of playing for Rangers at Ibrox.”
Murty’s positive appraisal of the Manchester United academy product is shared by Rangers fans, who have been mightily impressed at how quickly the recent arrival has adapted.
One hailed the midfield kingpin as the “eighth wonder of the world”, while another stated he could be worth £20million in a few years’ time.
