Rangers have found Alfredo Morelos replacement after what pundit has heard
Frank McAvennie has urged Michael Beale to play Robbie Ure ahead of Alfredo Morelos for Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Celtic striker said from what heβs heard about Ure, he would play him in the first team.
On Wednesday (8 February), sources told this site that Ure,18, wants to quit the club after being offered a new contract on less money.
His current deal expires at the end of the season but rejected an initial contract offer last month as he has an eye on a potential move in the main summer window.
The forward has made two first team appearances and netted a goal in their League Cup game against Queen of the South back in August.
McAvennie urged the Light Blues to give the youngster more of a chance in the first team.
βI would have him in the team,β he told Football Insider.
βI have heard about this boy. If it is all true, even if it is half true then I would get him in.
βRangers do not owe anything to Morelos now because of what his attitude has been. If this boy can come in and do it why not put him in.

βI would give him a chance. because I would rather pay him money than give Morelos a showcase. I would give him a chance and I would give him a contract.
βThey will be wanting to play other players so that they can sell them. He has not done anything yet but he deserves a chance.β
In other news, according to sources, Rangers have rejected last-gasp moves for Leon King and Alex Lowry from rivals.
