Rangers make Mikey Moore U-turn after Tottenham return reveal
Mikey Moore has endured a difficult start to life at Rangers since making the loan switch from Tottenham during the summer transfer window.
Moore struggled to make an impact under Russell Martin‘s management, while Rangers’ on-pitch struggles did little to help him settle in Glasgow.
The Tottenham winger was slammed by Rangers fans more multiple disappointing performances, notably following their 1-1 draw against Falkirk last month.
As a result, Football Insider revealed that Tottenham could recall Moore amid concerns that the move wasn’t right for him at this stage of his career.
However, Danny Rohl was appointed to replace Martin on 20 October, and is expected to play a key role in any decision surrounding the 18-year-old’s future.

Mikey Moore set to stay at Rangers in January
Despite previously expressing their frustrations after a poor star, Rangers fans believe Rohl has saved Moore’s season and are backing him to kick on from here.
The winger has made six appearances under the new boss so far, and has shown his quality, putting paid to any suggestions he could leave Ibrox in January.
That is according to former Tottenham and Man United senior scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that there are no plans for Tottenham to recall Moore mid-way through the season.
“Mikey Moore has had a tough start at Rangers, that’s the truth,” he told Football Insider.
“His recent resurgence, if that’s how you want to label it, has only been over a couple of games. He needs to put a consistent run of form together now.
“So if he wants to convince that he’s good enough to play week in, week out for Rangers and ultimately make his move back to Tottenham.
“If he went back to Spurs tomorrow, would he get in their team? No.
“He’s not at a level yet where he would make an impact for Tottenham, so as far as they’re concerned, he should continue at Rangers where he can put a run of form together.

“The only way he’s going to get better is by playing games, and he’s doing that now at Rangers.
“I don’t think there will be any plans to disrupt that situation, it wouldn’t be good for anybody.
“So I expect he will stay at Rangers now until the end of the season, with the hope that he will become more of a key player for them and continue his development.”
Rangers have turned around their domestic form under Rohl, despite questionable displays in Europe, with Moore now seen as a key part of the squad.
Rangers make January transfer plan for Danny Rohl
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 28 October that Rangers want a new striker, left-back and midfielder in January as all three positions need upgrades.
However, there is a belief that Rohl may be expected to work with what he has available to him given budget constraints ahead of the mid-season window.
Rangers spent heavily to back Martin during the summer, and following his dismissal, there is a belief that they will now be restricted in their spending.

Meanwhile, speculation about potential departures in the mid-season window has also been squashed, with the manager keen to keep his squad together.
This comes as Football Insider revealed on 10 November that Rangers have no plans to sell Youssef Chermiti despite his frustrating start to the season.
