Rangers wide player could exit in summer, Mark Allen must wrap up deal ASAP
COMMENT
Rangers defender Myles Beerman is out of contract at the end of the season and Gers director of football Mark Allen needs to tie down the Malta international as soon as possible or risk losing him in the summer.
Beerman has made a big impression since moving north from Manchester City in 2016 and his performances for the Light Blues have even forced his way into his national team’s plans.
The versatile wide player is currently on loan at Queen of the South and impressed when given an opportunity in the Gers’ first-team last season.
Despite not being involved in the first-team much this season – as well as struggling with injury – the 19-year-old is a good option to have around and should provide competition for Declan John in the next year or two as Lee Wallace starts to head towards the end of his career.
Comfortable anywhere on either flank, Beerman’s versatility is also a big positive with the Maltese youngster capable of playing in a variety of different positions for the Gers.

After making eight appearances for the first-team last season, and being a regular stand-out for Graeme Murty’s Under-20s, Beerman has shown there’s a quality player there and the Gers must move quickly and make sure he is given the chance to continue his development at Ibrox.
