Football Insider rates the Rangers players after their 4-0 win against Hamilton in the Premiership.
Wes Foderingham 6 – Pretty much a spectator across the 90 minutes. Did his job when called upon.
James Tavernier 8 – Surged up and down the pitch across the 90 minutes. Provided the assist for Pedro Caixinha’s first goal in charge after a fine one-two with Kenny Miller in the build-up.
Danny Wilson 6 – Had little to do in the back line, but still ensured his side kept a clean sheet.
Clint Hill 7 – Defended well and bagged his third goal from three matches with a calm finish after Toral’s expert delivery.
Lee Wallace 8 – Attacked well and defended confidently. Put in some quality deliveries into the box and was rewarded with a goal.
Jason Holt 6 – Battled well in the centre of the park without pulling up any trees.
Jon Toral 8 – The 22-year-old looked a different player under Pedro Caixinha. Was able to split open the Hamilton defence on many occasions with his fine passing. Played in an excellent free-kick of Hill’s goal.
Emerson Hyndman 7 – Looked confident and scored a tidy effort to open the scoring for his team.
Kenny Miller 6 – Rolled back the years, as he showed great energy to win the ball back for his side while posing a threat to the Accies.
Barrie McKay 6 – Pressed well off the ball, but his final pass was often lacking when on it.
Martyn Waghorn 8 – Almost opened the scoring in the first half before winning a penalty and then stepping up to convert it in the second half. Provided a brilliant assist for Wallace’s goal.
Joe Garner (For McKay 66 minutes) – 6
Joe Dodoo (For Waghorn 76 minutes) – 6
Harry Forrester (For Miller 82 minutes) – 6
