Josh Windass was destroyed by Rangers fans on Twitter after making a throw-away comment about Brazilian superstar Neymar during Paris Saint-Germain’s 7-1 win over Celtic in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Ibrox winger commented on how Neymar was not tracking back after giving the ball away before being deluged with replies from fans criticising the former Accrington Stanley ace’s own ability.
“When Neymar gives it away he jus(t) trots back not a care in the world,” Windass wrote on his personal Twitter account.
When Neymar gives it away he jus trots back ???????? not a care in the world

Neymar scored twice for the French side as they strolled past Celtic in the Parc des Princes and smashed the record for most goals scored in the group stage in a single campaign.
Here are some of the replies to Windass’ tweet:
I wish I didn’t have a care in the world. Unfortunately watching you masquerade as a footballer every week isn’t good for my blood pressure.

Spot on mate, he should take a few tips from you. Soon as you lose the ball your right back for it, keeping the opposition on there toes. Knowing Windass will be getting stuck back into them the second he loses the ball

Windass hasn’t exactly impressed supporters with his performances since moving to Ibrox 17 months ago.
Mark Warburton played Windass in central midfield for much of last season before being moved to left winger by Pedro Caixinha and neither position has brought a run of consistent performances from the 23-year-old.
Windass had a brief purple patch – scoring in successive games against Hearts and Partick Thistle before reverting to type against Hamilton last weekend in the shock 2-0 defeat to Martin Canning’s side.
