Rangers senior player agent lashes out yet again after Caixinha axe
By James Black
Kenny Miller’s agent Dave Baldwin has lashed out on social media for a third time, claiming the Rangers striker’s reputation has been “trashed” by the club.
Miller was axed to the club’s Under-20 squad after he reportedly passed details from a team meeting after the 2-0 Old Firm defeat to Celtic last month.
The 37-year-old senior player has missed the Scottish Premiership fixtures with Hamilton and St. Johnstone and it’s unclear if he’ll be involved in this weekend’s Scottish League Cup semi-final with Motherwell.
Representative Baldwin savaged Rangers on Tuesday over the way they dealt with the issue, insisting Miller was one of the “best professionals” an calling the club’s reaction “embarrassing” in a post on his personal Instagram account accompanied by an image of Miller.
In his latest comments, also posted on Instagram, Baldwin continued to rant about Miller’s treatment by the Ibrox giants.

“The problem I have is when the player is the only player dropped the day after a big rant about the club having a dressing room ‘leak’ and then it is not clarified why he is being left out,” Baldwin wrote, as quoted by the Evening Times website.
“It leaves it open to inferral and insinuation and endless newspaper stories and social media speculation that he was possibly or clearly the leak.
“When clearly he wasn’t.
“That then leads to his family getting dogs abuse about their loved one being a ‘rat’ and a ‘traitor.’
“Which is unnaceptable. It is not often a football club makes a claim that they have a leak in the dressing room so my very simple point was that the club should have quickly clarified that wasn’t why this particular player was being left out.
“Simple and would have saved a top professional’s reputation from getting trashed.”
Miller had been a near-constant sight in Caixinha’s side until the Old Firm clash but now looks to be frozen out of Caixinha’s plans.Caxinha had claimed the ex-Celtic forward missed the win over St. Johnstone after picking up a slight injury during training before Friday’s 3-0 win.
The former Scotland international has had three spells with the Ibrox side, scoring 100 times in 250 appearances, but looks set to be leaving before too long.
In other Rangers transfer news, a £7.5million midfielder is firmly in the running to be the club’s next signing.
