'Real gem' - Tottenham fans rave about one player after loss to Manchester United
By Aramide Oladipo
Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks sent the club’s fans into a complete frenzy on social media following his impressive display against Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old was one of the standout performers for Spurs despite the 1-0 loss to the Premier League title challengers United at Old Trafford.
In an extremely tight game, the hosts took the lead with ten minutes remaining as substitute Anthony Martial got himself on the end of a Romelu Lukaku header to steer the ball past Spurs skipper Hugo Lloris.
The result means that Tottenham have lost 1-0 at Old Trafford for the third consecutive time in the Premier League.
Spurs supporters took to social media following the defeat and the majority praised Winks’ performance in the midfield.

Most positive aspect of game for me so far is watching Winks drift pass players, he’s developing nicely.

Following impressive performances against Real Madrid and Liverpool, Winks experienced his first taste of playing at Old Trafford and he showed composure, strength and quality on the ball throughout the match.
The midfielder has enjoyed a wonderful start to the new campaign, earning his first international cap for England earlier this month against Lithuania.
Winks will be looking to start again when Spurs host Real Madrid in the Champions League in midweek.
