In an interview with the club, John Terry revealed Callum O’Hare as the Aston Villa prospect he thinks will be one to watch in the future.
In the latest part of Aston Villa’s Drive Time series, the club captain was asked to name one young talent who he believed would be decent in the future, and he had lots of praise for O’Hare.
He said: “Callum O’Hare is going to be a really good player.
“He floats between us and the U23s group, and when he comes over he makes a real impact.
“So I think Callum will be a real prospect.”
The 19-year-old has already made three appearances in the Championship for the Villans this season.
All three appearances have been made as a substitute, with the youngster getting minutes against Cardiff, Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday.
Along with three league games under his belt, the midfielder has featured in three League Cups for Aston Villa this season.
The hot prospect is yet to score a goal for the club, in his six appearances in total, but has registered an assist.
However, he has been in goal scoring form when featuring for Aston Villa’s U-23s this season.
In his six appearances in the Premier League 2, he has scored five goals.
