Redknapp claims this Liverpool ace ticks all the boxes

Jamie Redknapp has highlighted the qualities of Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana after his impressive season so far.

The 28-year-old has been of the club’s standout performers and played a major role in the Reds title challenge.

The Merseyside club are currently second in the Premier League table and just six points adrift of table toppers Chelsea, but have aspirations of winning the title this campaign.

Ex-Liverpool midfielder Redknapp claims that Lallana has been sensational this season after making big improvements to his game.

“Adam Lallana ticks all the boxes,” Redknapp wrote in the Mail. “His end product has improved — he is adding goals and assists to his game — and his work-rate is phenomenal.”

Lallana completed a £25million move to Anfield in 2014 and is currently in the best form of his Liverpool career.

The England international has made 16 appearances this season across all competitions, scoring six goals and supplying six assists.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has used Lallana as a central figure and he has flourished in a three-man midfield alongside either Jordan Henderson, Emre Can or Georginio Wijnaldum.

Lallana has certainly added more goals to his game and is already just one short of his tally (seven) for the whole of last season.

The central midfielder has begun to find the trait of arriving at the perfect time, something that Premier League legend Frank Lampard was the master of.

He is being helped by the form of the Liverpool team and German boss Klopp has the side playing a great style of football this season.

The Reds are currently the highest goal scorers in the division this season with 41 goals in just 17 games, with goals from midfield becoming a big feature of their team.
