Redknapp comments on Alli future at Tottenham amid reported agent swoop
By Derek Smithson
Harry Redknapp doesn’t believe that Dele Alli’s future at Tottenham will change despite the player reportedly being lied up by the world’s leading super agents.
The Times claim that the 21-year-old split from adviser Rob Segal in August, despite being with the Impact Sports Management team since the age of 15.
It is understood that there is now a race to land the signature of the England international, with leading agents Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola mentioned as potential suitors.
Both Mendes and Raiola have swooped for Alli after making contact with his adoptive family.
The Spurs playmaker is still under contract with the North London club until 2022 and is considered to be one of the best young talents in world football.

Redknapp was asked if a new agent could influence Alli’s future at Spurs and he insisted that he expects the attacking midfielder to stay where he is for the foreseeable future.
“He will be alright because Daniel [Levy] will have him tied up,” Redknapp told talkSPORT. “He is at a great club there and I cannot see why he would want to leave.
“Get on with it because they’ve got a team there that I think is a fantastic Tottenham team at the moment and I don’t see why he wouldn’t want to stay and be a part of that.”
Alli has become a talisman under manager Mauricio Pochettino and has made a strong start this season with two goals in his first four league games.
He was suspended for the Champions League 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund, but is likely to be back in action on Saturday against Swansea.
The attacker has now racked up 100 appearances for Spurs, scoring 34 goals and supplying 24 assists.
Alli has enjoyed a meteoric rise since is time with MK Dons just a few years ago and is now considered one of the best talents in the Premier League.
