Harry Redknapp has urged Celtic attacker Scott Sinclair to join Bournemouth in the summer.
The former Bournemouth manager is a big fan of what Eddie Howe is doing at the south coast club.
And Redknapp thinks that Sinclair would be the perfect fit for Howe’s exciting, attacking football.
“I think Scott Sinclair has done brilliantly at Celtic,” Redknapp said in the Scottish Sun.
“He’s an exciting player, can score goals, can create goals.
“I don’t know if Celtic want to sell him — but there’s no doubt he’d be a BIG asset for Bournemouth if Eddie Howe was looking to bring him in.
“Sinclair’s come of age since he went to play for Brendan Rodgers at Celtic. His game’s improved and he’s revived his career in Scotland.
“I’d be surprised if Celtic were to sell him. But if they do, and Bournemouth were to go for him, it could be a great move. I’d love to see him playing down here.”
Football Insider verdict:
All the signs point to Sinclair leaving Celtic this summer and fans won’t mid that much. He was their player of the year last season, but hasn’t reached the same heights this campaign, and it looks like his love affair with Scotland is over. The only bad thing from Celtic’s point of view is that his performances this season will likely see him move for a lesser price than if he was still firing like he was in 16/17. The 29-year-old does still have two years left on his contract though. Sinclair might be hoping for a bigger club than Bournemouth but it will be interesting to see if anyone else shows an interest.
