Redknapp: I would love Tottenham to sign this available player, Poch can make him the next Gazza

Jamie Redknapp has claimed in the Mail that Tottenham must pull out all the stops to sign Ross Barkley from Everton this summer.
The high profile pundit is convinced that the playmaker can make a huge impact for Mauricio Pochettino’s vibrant young side and and has urged the Spurs boss to take advantage of his contract stalemate.
Redknapp believes Barkley, 23, has such potential that he can be the next Paul Gascoigne for the north Londoners.
“There are not many players who divide opinion like Ross Barkley but I have always thought he is fantastic young talent,” wrote Redknapp in his weekly Mail column. “At times he makes the wrong decisions but he has so much natural ability.
“I am sure Ross knows where he will be next season but I would love Tottenham to sign him. Barkley has what it takes to be the next Gazza for Spurs — and Mauricio Pochettino can take him to the next level.”

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has made it clear to Barkley that he must sign the contract offered to him by the club or leave in the forthcoming window.
The Goodison Park academy product initially struggled under the Dutchman but has nailed down a regular starting spot since December and been key to the team’s revival.
Barkley has scored five goals and supplied nine assists in 34 appearances in all competitions this season, and started 29 of the club’s 33 Premier League encounters.
Everton’s 3-1 win against Burnley on Saturday enabled them to leapfrog Arsenal in the table and end the weekend sixth in the league.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club have sensationally terminated the contract of one of their defenders.
