Redknapp: Tottenham are talking about signing these two players to catapult them to next level

Jamie Redknapp believes that Tottenham need a player with the “X factor” in the summer transfer window that can make the difference in their away games.
The high-profile pundit claimed Spurs were talking about signing one of two attack-minded players, Everton’s Ross Barkley and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.
Spurs suffered a disappointing 1-0 away loss against West Ham on Friday night in the Premier League and that seriously handed Chelsea all the momentum in the title race, with Antonio Conte’s side now expected to clinch the crown.
The north London club are unbeaten in their homes games this season at White Hart Lane, but have found it more difficult on the road.
Redknapp claims that they need a special player that can provide something a bit different and should be scanning the upcoming transfer market for a target.

“I think in the summer maybe they’ll reflect and look for that bit of X factor that can open the door sometimes, particularly away from home,” Redknapp said, as quoted by Sky Sports. “As a manager you want someone; that’s why they’re talking about a Wilfried Zaha or a Ross Barkley, someone who can do something different.
“Because when you’re at White Hart Lane, you get a lot of possession, but sometimes on the break you need someone to unlock the door.”
Spurs do have several quality attacking players in their squad, with the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son all in great goalscoring form.
However, it looks like they are going to fall just short of Chelsea in the title race, who need to win just two of their four remaining fixtures for their second top-flight crown in three years.
Spurs are reportedly confident of signing Crystal Palace playmaker Wilfried Zaha, with Mauricio Pochettino understood to be a long-term admirer.
Meanwhile, they are also linked with Everton ace Ross Barkley and have made him their top summer target.
