Reliable journalist: Arsenal handed massive boost ahead of Chelsea semi-final
Arsenal have been handed a huge boost ahead of their League Cup semi-final with Chelsea with Alexis Sanchez set to start, according to a reliable journalist.
John Cross, senior football writer for the Mirror, also revealed that Arsenal have not yet received an acceptable bid from Man City.

The Mirror report that City are set to test the waters with a £20m Sanchez bid, although Arsenal want £30m for their star attacker who is out of contract in the summer.
Until then though, it’s business as usual and Sanchez will be expected to help fire his team towards a final against either Bristol City or, ironically, Man City.
It’s not all good news for Arsenal though, as the report goes on to say that Mesut Ozil will not be fit to play after struggling with a knee problem and missing training.
In other Arsenal transfer news, a reliable source has today stated that an agreement has been reached between another club and this Arsenal star.
