The long-awaited saga about Marcelo Bielsa taking over as Leeds manager is coming to an end, according to a reliable journalist.
Jason Pettigrove, a Marca journalist, tweeted “I know what the #Bielsa situation is 100%” but added that the information would stay confidential until he was given the okay by Leeds.
He released the teaser on his personal Twitter page on Wednesday afternoon, and said that he was in “direct contact” with the club.
So that I don’t have to answer a raft of hundreds of DM’s… I know what the #Bielsa situation now is 100% but it will remain confidential until I’m given the OK by #LUFC to release any further info. I am in direct contact with the club and any updates will be posted as and when.

Football Insider verdict:
There couldn’t be any more drama unless Leeds said they were going to let fans know by the colour of the smoke coming out of their chimney. Talks with Bielsa have been going on for a long time now but it looks like the long-winded saga is coming to an end. Leeds fans are obviously desperate to find out and social media puts them in more direct contact with the news, but also makes the wait more agonising. A lot of fans have decided that this is good news, and that Leeds are just waiting for the right time to announce. We love eternal optimists, especially ones who have had a rough time over the past 12 months, so we won’t say anything to rock the boat. However, after all of this, we hope that the final Leeds verdict is the one that all fans have been waiting for. Either way the decision looks like it has been made and it can’t be long before the Leeds press office give the go-ahead for the fans to know.
