Reliable journalist responds to rumour Leeds star pair to miss Fulham showdown

Leeds duo Chris Wood and Luke Ayling could miss the team’s Championship clash against Fulham on Tuesday night, according to a reliable journalist.
Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Phil Hay gave some insight into their availability on Twitter hours before kick-off.
Asked by a Leeds fan if there was any truth in speculation that striker Wood and right-back Ayling may miss the Craven Cottage encounter, Hay reported there is a “suggestion” that Wood may have a calf problem while Ayling’s wife could have given birth to their child.
Hay did emphasise that this information was “unconfirmed” but it gave credence to rumours the pair will be missing from the starting XI.
would stress that this is unconfirmed but suggestion Wood has a calf problem and Ayling's wife has had their baby.

The experienced campaigners have been key figures for Garry Monk this season helping the Englishmen mould his team into a promotion chasing outfit.
Striker Wood has arguably been their most important player with the New Zealand international scoring 22 goals in the Championship this term.
He scored during the club’s previous two victories against Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday and a brace against Birmingham City last Friday.
At this moment in time, the Whites are sitting in fourth place in the table on 64 points from their 35 matches, eight points ahead of seventh-placed Fulham.
The London club crucially have a game in hand on their rivals, so the game in midweek becomes even more significant.
If the duo are to miss the trip to Craven Cottage then Marcus Antonsson could be a possible replacement for Wood, while Lewie Coyle could become a makeshift right-back.
Dropped points in the capital could see the chasing pack close in on the Yorkshire club at such a crucial stage of the season.
In other Leeds team news, Garry Monk will be worried about these three players ahead of the Fulham clash.
