Report details why Tottenham loanee Edwards can't get a game at Norwich

By Richard Parks
Marcus Edwards is still waiting for his Norwich City debut because of a niggling back injury, according to a report.
The attacking midfielder completed a half-season loan from Tottenham to Carrow Road last month but has failed to make the matchday squad in each of the team’s five games since his arrival.
Edwards, 19, was absent once again for the high profile east Anglian derby on Sunday as Norwich and Ipswich drew 1-1 in match marked by a thrilling finish.
Football London claim the rising star “has only just shaken off a niggling back injury” but he is now back in full training and should be appearing in Norwich squads in the coming weeks.
Tellingly, Norwich boss Daniel Farke, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account, hailed Edwards at the end of last month for being “brilliant with the ball” and explained that he has “worked well this week” but admitted “we’re looking for Marcus to change his attitude on the pitch” and that he “has to learn more about playing without the ball”.

Farke’s verdict on Edwards will not be a surprise to Tottenham fans who are closely following his career.
It follows the claim of Pochettino in his recently-published book that it would have been “impossible” for the the left-footed dribbler to have made it in times gone by due to his attitude and behaviour.
Edwards has made just a single senior appearance for Spurs, in a League Cup tie in September 2016.
In other Tottenham news, it can be exclusively revealed by Football Insider that a flying forward has agreed the terms of a contract with the club.
