West Ham are set to be missing both Mark Noble and Michail Antonio for the club’s clash with West Brom on Tuesday night, according to a report.
The Birmingham Mail claim on their website that the Hammers duo are both still suffering from their respective injury blows, having missed the controversial 3-3 draw against Bournemouth on Boxing Day.
Antonio, who has 15 appearances under his belt for the Hammers this season, was replaced on the hour mark in the 3-2 defeat against Newcastle United before Christmas, and was missing for the six goal thriller at Dean Court.
It is said that he is suffering from an injury in his groin, and that he has been unable to recover in time for the clash at the London Stadium.
Meanwhile club captain Noble has been out of action since limping off with a hamstring injury after 35 minutes in the 3-0 win over Stoke City, having netted a penalty just before the 20 minute mark.
The experienced centre midfielder has been in and out of the club’s first team squad this season, with just 11 appearances to his name so far.
If the report is correct, then the duo will be joining Jose Fonte, Sam Byram and Edmilson Fernandes in missing out, the trio all long term injury layoffs for the Hammers.
