Liverpool are interested in Bayern Munich’s international midfielder Renato Sanches, according to a report.

They claimed that Bayern want to send the 20-year-old out on loan and Liverpool, along with Roma, were named as being interested.

It was also picked up by the Liverpool Echo on their transfer blog (11.45am) who said, “One year ago he was rated as one of the best young players in world football.”
Sanches starred in Euro 2016 for Portugal, making six appearances and scoring a goal in their victory against Poland in the quarter-finals.

He also played 78 minutes in the final, when Portugal defeated hosts France 1-0.
Following this he was lauded by pundits everywhere, including Thierry Henry, who was quoted on Sky Sports as saying, “I just love him.”
He was the youngest finalist in the competition’s history and also got the man-of-the-match award for his performance against Croatia in the round of 16.
Bayern Munich signed him from Benfica after the tournament for £31million but things haven’t got brilliantly since.
He’s made 26 appearances for the German giants since, including 17 in the Bundesliga last season.
But he is yet to make an appearance this season and Bayern want to send him out on loan for his own development.
