The return of the Scotland international is a timely boost for the Hoops as Odsonne Edouard looks set to miss the rest of the season with a hamstring problem.
Griffiths can add an extra dimension to the Hoops side which is looking to make history by becoming the first team in Scottish football to win the domestic treble two seasons in a row.
Intriguingly enough, the Hoops victory in the Betfred Cup Final was also against Motherwell, and Griffiths came on as a second-half sub and caused the Fir Park side plenty of problems.

They might well be the strategy adapted by the Hoops boss in the Scottish Cup Final, he could well decide to start the Hoops number one striker Moussa Demeble up-front, and put Griffiths on the bench with a view to bringing him on in the second-half.
No matter who starts the cup final, the Hoops boss and fans will be delighted that a natural goalscorer like Griffiths will be available for such a huge game, and you wouldn’t bet against playing a key role in the game.
