Everton are preparing a mammoth £56million offer to seal the signing of Moise Kean before the transfer window cut-off next week, Football Insider can reveal.
The Merseysiders have opened discussions with Juventus over a deal to land the forward, 19, in the final 11 days of the window.
An Everton source has told Football Insider that recruitment chief Marcel Brands is working to reach an agreement for Kean’s signature by offering £27million for Kean as well as a salary package worth a minimum £110,000-a-week over five years.
The total cost of the package in fee and wages would be nearly £56million, a huge outlay for Everton, who have also made a move to prise Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.
This comes after Football Insider revealed earlier this month that the Toffees were set to open talks with Juventus over the big-money capture of Kean.
Juventus value Kean at £36million and Everton are a long way off reaching an agreement on price for a player who is also interesting Arsenal, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.
Kean is regarded as one of the most exciting young attackers in Europe after scoring seven goals from 17 matches last season, six of which came from 13 Serie A fixtures.
The teenager has also achieved full international honours, scoring two goals from three matches for Italy after making the step up in the 2018-19 campaign.
Everton have set their sights on strengthening their attack over the next 11 days and are convinced Kean has the potential to make a big impact in the Premier League.
In other Everton news, it can be REVEALED that the club have agreed the terms of a £29million deal.
