Revealed: Jurgen Klopp’s next steps after Man United and Chelsea talks
Jurgen Klopp has been heavily linked with a return to management for the first time since leaving Liverpool with a number of elite clubs interested.
The 58-year-old’s agent revealed both Man United and Chelsea have made contact since his departure from Anfield, while Real Madrid are also strong admirers.
However, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Klopp is not looking to make an immediate return to the dugout.
He is believed to be happy in his role as the Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull, away from the tension and stresses of top-level management.
While there have been suggestions he could be tempted back into the game abroad or potentially with the German national team, it is unlikely as things stand.

Jurgen Klopp’s stance on managerial return revealed
Football Insider revealed on 20 February that Klopp turned down Man United’s approach, as well as those from both Chelsea and England in recent times.
The boss has ruled out a return to Premier League management with any club other than Liverpool and was never likely to take over at Old Trafford.
Despite United still looking for a new manager, while Real Madrid are also on the hunt to replace interim boss Alvaro Arbeloa, Klopp is unlikely to return.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “Obviously, the news came a bit left field really that Jurgen Klopp’s agent claimed that Manchester United and Chelsea had both made inquiries for Klopp after he left Liverpool.
“Jurgen Klopp isn’t going to return to the Premier League to any other club apart from Liverpool.
“I think if Klopp ever returns to management it’ll be for a club outside the Premier League and possibly the Germany national team job is something that might be of interest to him.
“But he’s happy in his role at the minute with Red Bull where he’s been since he left Liverpool.

“He was at the Winter Olympics this week, so he’s obviously not missing management too much.
“He’s stepped away from the stresses and strains of it all, so I think it’s a complete non-starter and there’s no chance Klopp would ever manage Man United or Chelsea.”
Could Klopp be tempted to accept a new position?
Despite having no plans to return to the dugout as things stand, there is one position which could be an exception for Klopp and could tempt him back in.
Football Insider revealed on 21 February that Klopp could be interested in the Germany job, should Julian Nagelsmann leave his position after the World Cup.
Nagelsmann will lead Germany in the United States, Mexico and Canada this summer, but remains a top target for Man United and could be tempted to make the switch.

Football Insider revealed on 11 January that Chirstopher Vivell is pushing Man United to appoint Nagelsmann as their permanent manager in the summer.
That would open the door for Klopp to step into his position to lead his country, after reportedly turning down the England job after Gareth Southgate’s exit.
