Ronaldo Vieira is not in the Leeds matchday squad to face Birmingham because he is being “rested”, according to a reliable journalist.
Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Phil Hay revealed on his personal Twitter account that the midfield ace is not injured.
Vieira has been a regular feature for Garry Monk in the Championship this season, but it appears he is just sitting out the Friday night game at St Andrew’s.

Vieira made a brief seven-minute appearance for the club during their previous match when they beat promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday.
As a result, the experienced midfield duo of Eunan O’Kane and Liam Briductt start in the middle of the park for the second consecutive game.

They will be tasked to control the match against a side that is expected to play a diamond formation in midfield.
This season, Vieira has started 30 games in all competitions for the club, 26 of those in the Championship where he has scored one goal.
That goal came against Norwich at Carrow Road earlier on in the campaign when his magnificent long-range effort sealed all three points for his side in stoppage time.
Now, the academy product will be looking on from the sidelines and hoping his team can enhance their chances of finishing in a play-off place by securing all three points.
