Multiple Scottish Premiership clubs have submitted bids for Jack Hendry as he edges closer to leaving Celtic this month, Football Insider has learned.
The Hoops are ready to offload the centre-back, 24, before the Scottish transfer cut-off after he was frozen out of Neil Lennon’s side following a dramatic fall from grace.
A Celtic source has told Football Insider there are three SPL clubs keen on Hendry, with Kilmarnock and Motherwell among those who have tabled offers.
There is the possibility of Hendry leaving permanently or on loan, and he could even move to Kilmarnock in part-exchange for left-back Greg Taylor.
Hendry has three more years remaining on his Celtic contract after signing from Dundee in January of last year for a fee of around £1.2million.
He initially made a sound impression under ex-boss Brendan Rodgers but has failed to add to his 26 Hoops appearances since Neil Lennon took over as manager in February.
Hendry, who stands at 6ft 3in, has three Scotland caps to his name but is now behind Kristoffer Ajer, Christopher Jullien, Jozo Simunovic and Nir Bitton in the battle for centre-back spots at Parkhead.
