West Brom attacking midfielder Kyle Edwards is poised to join Coventry City on loan, Football Insider understands.
A host of Football League clubs have shown an interest in taking Edwards on loan, but Coventry have acted swiftly to agree a deal with West Brom for the attacker.
A source close to the club has told Football Insider that the terms of the deal have been agreed and it will be finalised before deadline day.
Edwards is highly-rated at West Brom after coming through the youth ranks at the Hawthorns.
The attacking midfielder made his first-team debut for West Brom this season and he has gone on to make seven appearances for Darren Moore’s side this term.
The 20-year-old pent last season on loan at Exeter City, helping them reach the League Two play-off final where he scored in the defeat to Coventry.
West Brom feel Edwards will benefit from going out on loan in the second half of the season as his first-team opportunities at the Hawthorns are set to be limited with the Baggies chasing promotion back to the Premier League.
