Rival manager delivers verdict on Tottenham ahead of Burnley clash
By Dominic Toner
Burnley manager Sean Dyche has praised Tottenham as one of the best teams in the division ahead of a Premier League meeting at the weekend.
Spurs travel to Turf Moor on Saturday for a league clash and will be hoping to strengthen their grip on a top four spot.
The north London club are second in the league table and look in pole position to earn a Champions League place.
They will be looking to earn three points against 13th-placed Burnley, but will be way of their opposition’s strong home form this season.
The Clarets have won nine of their 14 home matches in the league this campaign, including victories over the likes of Liverpool and Everton.

Dyche has voiced his admiration for Spurs ahead of the game and is expecting a difficult encounter.
“We know Spurs will be a tough game,” Dyche said, as quoted by Burnley’s official website. “I just think they are one of the top sides in the division and I really like the way they go about their business.
“They can mix the game up and play with pace and pass through the units very quickly.”
Spurs entered the international break in fantastic form and will be looking to continue that against Burnley, having won their last four consecutive matches across all competitions.
Mauricio Pochettino will still be without key first teamers Harry Kane and Danny Rose at the weekend, but have proved that they have enough strength in depth.
Ben Davies has slotted in well at left-back, while Heung-Min Son and Vincent Janssen are competing for the vacant attacking position.
In other Tottenham news, Martin Keown has urged a 23-year-old playmaker not to join Spurs.
